INTRODUCING SHADED SPRUCE…
PANTONE 19-4524 TPG
According to Pantone, Shaded Spruce “is a green you might see in the forest – sheltering and protective as evergreen trees.” We like to think of it as a darker emerald green that came to give continuity to the color that everyone seemed to have loved throughout the year. Conveying coziness and tranquility, this darker shade of green is a great shade to feature in your dining room or guest bedroom. It will definitely make your guest feel very welcomed.
IN THE FASHION INDUSTRY
Green was one of the most used colors during this year’s New York Fashion Week. From street style to the actual runway, Shaded Spruce and other tones of green completely invaded new york. This might have happened because of Greenery’s influence, but the truth is it stuck and this will definitely be a color everyone will be seeing around during the Fall season.
IN THE INTERIOR DESIGN WORLD
Green usually symbolizes growth and renewal. What does this mean? It means Shaded Spruce is a great color to start using in your home decor this Fall. Time to start thinking about new projects, Fall is also a time of thought and getting your ideas in order before getting back to work and your normal life. Spreading this green shade across your house will definitely help you to get that feeling, seeing as your house is your refuge and the place you seek comfort.
SHADED SPRUCE MID-CENTURY ITEMS
You can start by using Shaded Spruce in your walls. Whether you decide to paint them or use a mid-century inspired wallpaper, using this calm shade of green will immediately bring a sense of renewal and relaxation to your household. Choose a small wall to create that statement. And, of course, make sure to top it up with the right mid-century furniture pieces.
Use it in your actual furniture and go with other bold colors, such as the bright red we can see on those art-deco inspired stools. If you are not afraid to take chances, this dark green color is the right move for you, regarding your Fall home decor.
You can pair this statement color with several neutrals in order to make the best of such a rich tone. Our suggestion is to pair it up with a nice modern chandelier lacquered a matte white over your dining room table, just like you can see in the photo above.
