The past five days passed faster than a blink of an eye, but the experience was completely worth it. Keep scrolling to discover our recap of the week!
As you might already know, one of our favorite moments were spent at DelightFULL and Essential Home’s stand that was filled with an incredible mid-century vibe that was noticed by every single person that passed by.
CHECK OUT HOW DAZZLING DELIGHTFULL’S STAND WAS:
DelightFULL has also presented two new lighting designs that have really stand out like a sore thumb in this incredible stand. Hank Chandelier and Laine Chandelier were really the main attraction of this year’s stand since both of them came to redefine what mid-century lighting is all about. Simply poetic and extravagantly scenic!
Seletti has always gained a free pass into our “most out of the box stands” selection. Every single person stops to look or take pictures when they passed by this bold, different and unique stand. This refreshing stand was filled with bright colors and iconic pieces with crazy pop culture inspirations. Below you can see the most vibrant features of this stand:
Vitra was one of the boldest stands of this Maison et Objet Edition. With a collection based on classic patterns and objects conceived by designers such as Alexander Girard, Charles and Ray Eames and George Nelson, this stand represented authenticity, joy, and playfulness.
POP CORN was the booth of our dreams: with an incredible selection of the most varied objects, design lovers have fallen in love with it!
We absolutely love Scandinavian Design, so one of our favorite stands of this edition the one from Design House Stockholm. With products filled with personality and character, this stand added something new to this outstanding trade show and confirming that they distinguished themselves as publishers of design rather than conventionals producers.
Finally, Tom Dixon’s stand was one of the most dazzling lighting stands of the show. The interior designer showcased a collection of borosilicate glass vessels that seek to become ritualistic instruments of every day drinking and serving. ‘BUMP’ includes minimalist vases, a pair of tall and short water glasses, a tea set, and a water jug, each delicately handmade with subtle levels of pink and gray translucency.’
The Best Conference
Among the extensive list of conferences during Maison et Objet Conferences, Tristan Auer, designer of the year award, designing interiors and emotions was one of the most awaited one. The conference was moderated by Marion Vignal, journalist, and curator and Tristan Auer talked about his bespoke luxury interior designs and about his inspirations related to the glamorous lifestyle of the 1920s and 1930s and the French style.
