DelightFULL and ourselves here at Unique Blog have decided to make a selection of colors which we believe will definitely rock our interior designs in the upcoming year. Having a very hard time staying away from trends, and having shown you Pantone’s colors for this Fall, we knew that now was the best time to share this little selection of our 2018 color trends predictions with you!
Today we will start with one of our favorite Pantone red shades… Red Scarlet!

WHY RED?
Red is probably one of the strongest colors of the whole palette. Red is also a very physical color, which conveys energy and excitement. So, it is easy to fall in love with any shade of red. We have chosen Red Scarlet not only because it is featured in Pantone’s Fall color report, but also because we believe it can bring a huge statement to any room decor. LIVING ROOM
Luckily, red is a very easy color to mix with other colors and multiple materials. You can easily use it in your living room decor. In a mid-century sofa, an accent chair or even a modern lighting design. If red is your color, don’t be afraid to use it.
DINING ROOM
Red can also be used with many different styles. It is a very versatile color, which looks great in more classic, modern and even industrial ambiances. If you choose the right pieces with the right color, you can create a stunning effect and wow everyone. In the photo above we can see red shining brightly in a more minimalist and contemporary dining room. However, if you see the photo below, you can see how it also works in industrial-inspired dining rooms.
BEDROOM
If you happen to have a mid-century modern bedroom, then red is your color for sure!
