Elements Living: Mid-Century Lovers Will Find This Serene All-White House Seriously Soothing
Like many aspects of designing a home, the simplest choices often turn out to be incredibly complex. Just ask Josean Zingale of Marbella-based design firm Elements Living. Her design team completed Altos Reales’ home renovation and chose to decorate almost every room with an all-white colour palette. You might think that forgoing colour would simplify the process, but it’s quite the opposite. Unique Blog will unveil more details about the renowned Spanish design company, and this isn’t all. You’ll also have the chance to step inside this peaceful ambiance and do a mental brief vacation.
Based in the well-known city of Marbella, the design company has developed multiple projects around the world with different styles and scales. “All our projects distinguish themselves by the highly personalised approach we offer to our customers, always adapting to the individual style and needs of each client, combining practical and esthetical aspects to materialise their ideas and dreams and create spaces full of life.”
Something we love about our work is that with each project everything starts anew once again
One of the most complicated tasks was to choose one project among a wide selection of jaw-dropping works, however Altos Reales, an all-white residential project, immediately caught our attention. Elements Living had the task to fully renovate the house, and the final result couldn’t be better! Take a look inside!
As much as we love a colorful room—there’s one type of space that will never go out of style: all-white interiors. Whether it’s a light and bright kitchen or a colorless living room filled with textures and intriguing art, there’s something timeless and soothing about a bleached-out space.
But while they may seem easier to pull off, all-white interiors done well have very specific recipes for success. From layering textures to choosing paint colors and materials or even picking artwork, keeping a coherent all-white scheme is not as easy as it may seem.
“We softened the existing interior design by repainting the walls, changing the upholstery and adding some new pieces to create this peaceful environment. The use of neutral tones and luxurious textures, gave the house its timeless elegance back.”
Crisp white walls reflect natural light, making a room appear larger.
Timeless, chic, and always on trend, neutrals never seem to leave the interior spotlight, and for good reason. Creating a neutral color palette with creamy whites, soft beiges, and warm wood tones is one of the easiest ways to design a space that feels bright and welcoming.
