Awards are definitely something that is part of the Sundukovy Sisters dictionary. Last year, they won the Designers of the Year awards from The Gold Key Awards in New York. Definitely an award that was well handed out to. Sundukovy Sisters has made huge strides when it comes to modern and contemporary interior design, and this award is the perfect reflection of that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sundukovy Sisters was founded in 2004, and for fifteen years has created marvelous and ambitious hospitality\/commercial projects throughout the world. Being a Russian studio, there\u2019s no denying that there\u2019s a strong influence from that classic Russian, luxurious design and ambition that has helped Sundukovy Sisters strive as one of the top studios in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will be talking about a couple of hospitality projects that Sundukovy Sisters managed to create. We start off with this hospitality project in France, the Louis Versailles Hotel received the careful and luxurious craftwork of the Sundukovy sisters, and the end result is something to gaze upon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Concept \u2013 \u201cThe exclusive historic location, the harmony of architecture and nature inspired us to develop the design idea: to create an interior that would harmoniously accompany the architectural ensemble of Versailles, to combine contemporary elegance with classic refinement. It should have royal historic roots, and at the same time \u2013 be artistic, bright and unique<\/strong><\/em>\u201d \u2013 by Sundukovy Sisters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An award-winning hospitality project in Germany, that received the award of Best Project 2018 by Archilovers, this project was ground-breaking went it was first showcased since it combined 20th-century architectural concepts blended with contemporary luxurious influences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Concept \u2013 \u201cWhen creating the design we were inspired by the architectural design style of Germany of the 1<\/em><\/strong>st<\/em><\/strong><\/sup>\u00a0half of the 20<\/em><\/strong>th<\/em><\/strong><\/sup>\u00a0century \u2013 Bauhaus. The functionality principle which became the basis of the style was defined by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe: Less is more. Following our own approach \u2013 the hotel interior shall form part of the city space \u2013 we decided to bring the nearby point of interest, the zoo, into the hotel and make it in the Bauhaus style<\/em><\/strong>.\u201d \u2013 by Sundukovy Sisters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This hospitality project is another great example of how Sundukovy Studios brings forth every unique aspect of every project. In this case, this project was inspired by a very famous Polish tale that is associated with the city, and the decor revolves around it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Concept \u2013 \u201cWe could not ignore the popular legend about the mermaid goddess Jurata, who the resort is named after. The legend is reflected in the accents, details, and elements of the interior, intended to highlight the local history and the town\u2019s association with the legend<\/em><\/strong>. \u201d by Sundukovy Sisters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
