In the heart of the Olympic park,       it arises this astonishing building which has been created in a former factory on the edge of the Olympic park.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thewhitebuilding.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"\">The White Building<\/a>\u00a0is situated \u00a0on\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.fishisland.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"\">Fish Island<\/a>\u00a0in Hackney Wick. It contains a <a href=\"http:\/\/delightfull.eu\/blog\/2012\/03\/ebury-trading-antiques-lighting-interior-design\/#.UBJnrLRYvyY\" title=\"\">gallery<\/a>, an events space, a cafe and a series of artists\u2019 studios.<\/p>\n<p>Situated across the Lea Navigation Channel from the Olympic site, the project overlooks the Olympic stadium.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"Thw white building\" src=\"http:\/\/static.dezeen.com\/uploads\/2012\/07\/Dezeen_The-White-Building-by-David-Kohn-Architects21.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"468\" height=\"351\"><\/p>\n<p>Five new\u00a0entrances lead into the building, allowing the\u00a0different\u00a0rooms to be used in flexible configurations.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"The White building\" src=\"http:\/\/static.dezeen.com\/uploads\/2012\/07\/Dezeen_The-White-Building-by-David-Kohn-Architects_3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"468\" height=\"528\"><\/p>\n<p>The project is held by\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.davidkohn.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"\">Design for London<\/a>\u00a0which is responsible for\u00a0\u201cOlympic Fringe\u201d projects\u00a0for sites bordering the Olympic park.
