There are some color palettes inspired by Hayao Miyazaki<\/em><\/strong>\u2018s films. Love the combo of Movies<\/strong> and Design<\/strong>. This one stroke a chord with me: Designer and illustrator Hyo Taek Kim<\/strong> tapped into happy childhood memories of seeing Hayao Miyazaki\u2019s<\/strong> films and created The Colors<\/strong> of, a series of color palettes based on Miyazaki\u2019s<\/strong> body of work.<\/p>\n

The minimalist posters feature some of Miyazaki\u2019s most noteworthy films, like Totoro and Howl\u2019s Moving Castle, with horizontal stripes of colors that reference that particular film.<\/p>\n

Hayao Miyazaki is one of Japan\u2019s greatest animation directors. The entertaining plots, compelling characters and breathtaking animation in his films have earned him international renown from critics as well as public recognition within Japan. The Walt Disney Company\u2019s commitment to introduce the films to the rest of the world will let more people appreciate the high-quality works he has given the movie-going public.<\/p>\n

\"COLOR\"\"<\/a>Hayao Miyazaki was born in T\u00f4ky\u00f4 on January 5, 1941. He started his career in 1963 as an animator at the studio Toei Douga studio and was subsequently involved in many early classics of Japanese animation. From the beginning, he commanded attention with his incredible drawing ability and the seemingly endless stream of movie ideas he proposed.<\/p>\n
