Passionate about making her design ethos accessible to the masses, Hoppen has now written eight books. In addition, she is honoured to be the recipient of copious design awards and the proudest point in her career to date came in 2009, when she was made an\u00a0MBE\u00a0for her services to interior design. Recognised for the passion of empowering women in business, she was also awarded the NatWest Everywoman Ambassador award in December 2013.<\/p>\n

Belinda Try \u2013 Founder and Executive Director \u2013 apaiser<\/strong><\/a><\/h2>\n

Belinda Try is an Australian entrepreneur, designer and founder of the apaiser group of companies. Born in Adelaide, Australia \u2013 Belinda was formally trained as a classical ballerina and danced with several of the world\u2019s leading ballet companies before raising a family and moving into the business world. She established apaiser in 2000 after the conclusion of her dancing career and is both founder and Executive Director of the global apaiser group.<\/p>\n

Seizing upon her belief that bathrooms were a neglected area of hospitality and residential design, Belinda\u2019s natural entrepreneurial spirit drove her to create an alternative to the sterile and functional bathroom products that dominated the market.<\/p>\n

Belinda\u2019s original vision was for the creation of a bathware range focusing on the creation of luxurious ambience in the bathroom and thus, she designed the apaiser material with optimum performance in mind. Now her vision is to open luxury flagship showrooms that will extend the footprint for apaiser \u2013 in London and New York in 2015 \u2013 to bring her brand to the Northern Hemisphere.<\/p>\n
