We start\u00a0with the project of Eclectic Restaurant, created by Design Research studio. Located in the\u00a01970s Beaugrenelle Centre building, it presents charming interiors, as well as a breathless architecture.<\/p>\n

The center of the restaurant is dominated by a giant cluster of Cell pendants. Fine shadows across the concrete interior provoke a soft and intimate light.<\/p>\n

London based Design Research Studio projected Greenwich Bar Project and ege carpets. They installed the textile flooring\u00a0in the ceiling and thereby created a bar interior never seen before.<\/p>\n

We present you Craft London, a cocktail bar on the top floor of one of two glass pavilions by Marks Barfield Architects located on the Greenwich Peninsula.\u00a0The ceiling carpet idealised by Design Research Studio provides the accents with the softer pinks and blues inspired by sunset colours. It is enhanced the exploration of materials and textures, like the cork, pewter as well as the carpet pattern and application.<\/p>\n

The Design Research Studio has created the interiors of the hotel Mondrian, which is located in London. With 359 rooms, two bars, a restaurant, a spa and a cinema, this is the largest Studio design project. Current research has enabled the Research Studio to explore a wide range of ambiances.<\/p>\n

Superstar designer Tom Dixon\u00a0recently finished his newest interiors project, for a new restaurant in London called\u00a0Circus.<\/p>\n

A curiosity: the building itself used to be housing for the animals performing for the Royal Opera House. This is a fact that Dixon and the Seven Dials restaurant group have used to inspire the design. Only this time, the performers are human: the wait staff does double duty, performing in cabaret acts.<\/p>\n

Last but not least: McCann Erickson initiated their\u00a0own re-branding and invited Design Research Studio to join them in establishing a new identity for their Manhattan office.<\/p>\n

A proof that the work environment can mix quality with a high sense of design. An open format was created, denying conventional forms, to encourage a modern, collaborative way of working, divided into zones: Central Park, a natural, informal, flexible space encouraging communication; and Science Lab, an efficient, high-tech area.
