OKI SATO<\/strong>, born in 1977 in Toronto, Canada, studied architecture at Waseda University in Tokyo.
\nHe obtained his Master\u2019s degree in 2002. In the same year, the Nendo studio was born in Tokyo.
\nNow he has taken up the international stage, with offices in Tokyo and Milan.<\/p>\n

Nendo, meaning \u2018modelling clay\u2019, expresses his desire of having the certain flexibility and the ability to reinvent oneself.<\/p>\n

The designer takes his inspiration from Japanese uncluttered style to create a language of his time.
\nThe philosophy of Oki Sato is reflected in his designs, thanks to which he transforms the interactions of people with the objects surrounding them by creating a parenthesis in their life.
\nThis desire is found in the uncluttered and characteristic shapes of his designs, to which he always adds a touch of humour and conviviality.<\/p>\n

An industrial designer, DOROTH\u00c9E MEILICHZON<\/strong> trained at Strate College Designers and at the Rhode Island School of Design where she studied toy design. She worked in Paris for five years then decided to set up her own design studio, carried by the momentum of her first project, the interior design for the Prescription Cocktail Club in Paris (Saint-Germain-des-Pr\u00e8s).<\/p>\n

With a researcher\u2019s mind, always seeking out new trends, Doroth\u00e9e takes her inspiration from everything around her, especially from the great names in decor: Madeleine Castaing, Dorothy Draper, Fornasetti, David Hicks, Gio Ponti, Charles and Ray Eames and Fran\u00e7ois-Xavier Lalanne.She always wishes to work as closely as possible with craftsmen, to create unique pieces and to highlight hand- made creation. Decorators, joiners, marble masons, and they\u2019re like have all the expertise that allows them to create a unique, timeless decor that everyone can make their own.<\/p>\n

She is currently finishing the design of H\u00f4tel Panache and the Grand Pigalle H\u00f4tel, both in the 9th arrondissement and has also started working on the decor of the four-star H\u00f4tel Bachaumont, located in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris, which is due to open in May 2015.<\/p>\n
