However,       its a theme that only the bravest artists are allowed to work: Yosman Botero is one of them. His surreal work is a two-part series called\u00a0<em>Made Matter of Empty I\u00a0<\/em>and<em>\u00a0II<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The 3D optical illusions that you can observe in the images are created by the multimedia artist from\u00a0his locale in Bogota through a meticulous process.<\/p>\n<p>Firstly, he builds a frameless box by stacking layers of plexiglass together. Secondly, he \u00a0paints flat subjects that float in between the layers in order to create the illusion of depth.
