The artist employs graphite powder and India ink in layers to create a photo-realistic reference. Her portraits, often nude and isolated, are the artist\u2019s attempt to capture the nuances of loneliness, exclusion, grief and longing.<\/p>\n

In a statement provided to Beautiful\/Decay<\/em>, Oubr\u00e9 described herself as an \u201cartist who paints (my view of) the human condition.\u201d A tangible presence surrounds her portraits.<\/p>\n
