Since the first lamp they produced, Flos has been innovating in the lighting industry. They started with the famous lamp Taraxacun<\/a>, designed by Achille Castiglioni<\/a> and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni<\/a> in 1960, made of cocoon<\/a> (represented on the image on the right). From then on, Flos is constantly producing stream object-inventions.<\/p>\n

This company was created in Italy, in 1962, by\u00a0 Dino Gavina and Cesare Cassina, and their desire was to give a sense of magic to the light emanated by the bulb. And we can say they achieved their purpose.<\/p>\n

Nowadays they bring to us a vast series of products. We can highlight the\u00a0 Skygarden<\/a>\u00a0and the Can Can<\/a>, two suspension lamps<\/a> made by Marcel Wanders<\/a> in 2007 and in 2011.<\/p>\n

In the table category, they offer us 40 different types of lamps. The most famous I would say is the Gun<\/a> designed by Phillipe Stark<\/a> in 2005.<\/p>\n

For the floor we can find this amazing Arco<\/a>. Also designed by Achille Castiglioni<\/a> and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni<\/a> in 1962. Whit this lamp we can imagine how innovative they were in the 60\u2019s.<\/p>\n
