Russell Sage. \u00a0He has designed an interior concept for Bounce,   a \u2018social ping-pong club\u2019 which has been branded by The Council and it is launched today at\u00a0121 Holborn street, in\u00a0London.<\/p>\n<p>Sage was inspired by \u2018stylish\u2019 US-based table tennis clubs and the resurgence of interest in the UK.<\/p>\n<p>To mix the ping-pong mania sweeping the world with a high end food is the main goal that leaded to this table tennis bar.<\/p>\n<p>Sage has looked to compose a design \u2018where it\u2019s all mixed in together, so if a ping-pong ball lands in someone\u2019s pint it doesn\u2019t really matter.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>The space of\u00a03810 m2 (!) \u00a0 has 16 playing tables, a raised seated restaurant for 130 guests with a view overlooking the playing area, an open counter wood-burning\u00a0 pizza oven, a 12m arc-shaped bar which surrounds the playing area, and a private-hire room hosting two of the tables alongside a cocktail bar and DJ booth.<\/p>\n<p>One of the tables in the main space is an official London 2012 Olympic table used at the games, and the others have been sourced from a number of suppliers.<\/p>\n<p>The Bounce table tennis club-cum-cocktail bar and restaurant is being launched today by Adam Breeden, co-founder of the All Star Lanes bowling company.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"suspension lamps\" src=\"http:\/\/www.designweek.co.uk\/Pictures\/web\/g\/f\/t\/Club-CGI-_482.jpg\" alt=\"suspension lamps\" width=\"482\" height=\"380\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.delightfull.eu\/suspension\/index.html\" title=\"\">suspension lamps<\/a> attribute a magic ambiance to the bar, while the Olympic table tennis waits for players<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"ping pong club\" src=\"http:\/\/www.designweek.co.uk\/Pictures\/web\/p\/b\/v\/Bounce_482.jpg\" alt=\"ping pong club\" width=\"482\" height=\"321\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>\u00a0Between a beer and a ping pong game<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"ping pong club\" src=\"http:\/\/www.designweek.co.uk\/Pictures\/web\/y\/c\/p\/Bounce_482.jpg\" alt=\"ping pong club\" width=\"482\" height=\"321\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Ready to eat after a ping-pong game<\/em><\/p>\n<p>To know more about Bounce, check its website:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bouncelondon.com\" title=\"\">http:\/\/www.bouncelondon.com.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The idea is not new, however, we have to give it the merit: a table tennis and a bar join the best of sport and leisure.
