Beijing Design Week (BJDW) 2012 was launched on the 28th<\/sup>, Friday, and it runs till the 6th<\/sup> of October. They\u2019ve spread the event across the city, from Dashilar to 751 D-Park and Caochangdi (CCD).<\/p>\n

The week of exhibitions and fairs include a host of creative activities including: Augmented Reality Walk, The Bicycle Library, Building Beijing Brick by Brick, the Exhibition \u201cHow to\u2026\u201d, DE-SIGNED, GeoCity SmartCity, Handmade Movies, WUHAO DESIGNed Tours, The Real Network and GeoCity Smart City.<\/em><\/p>\n

Among the highlights there is a pavilion created by prominent Brazilian designers (and brothers) Fernando and Humberto Campana<\/a>; a traveling retrospective of famed British architect Lord Richard Rogers<\/a>; and the Music and Design (M.A.D.) Festival<\/a>, which includes acts from Germany, the U.S. and China.<\/p>\n
