If you stare at this house, you might think it\u2019s located in a galaxy far, far away. \u00a0However, this space-age house isn\u2019t part of the\u00a0Star Wars\u00a0world \u2013 it\u2019s in Australia.<\/p>\n

With a\u00a0battleship grey colour and unusual shape, the stunning four-bedroom house, named\u00a0Alkira, has attracted comparisons to\u00a0the iconic movie\u00a0spaceship.<\/p>\n

And it does bear a stark resemblance Han Solo\u2019s legendary craft.<\/p>\n

To buy it, you\u2019ll have to be rich. This property is one of the bosses\u2019s in the market with a price of\u00a0$15 million (more than \u00a37 million).<\/p>\n

Created\u00a0by Melbourne designer Charles Wright in 2006, the futuristic home, located in Daintree, Cape Tribulation, was built three years later.<\/p>\n

A very bright star in the tropical forests of eastern Australia, it scooped a 2014 Queensland architecture award.<\/p>\n

Owner Rod Perry, 68, insists architect Wright\u2019s out-of-this-world design is the work of a \u201cgenius\u201d.<\/p>\n

This is for sure the kind of house\u00a0you\u2019re looking for: specially if you\u2019re a\u00a0Star Wars fan.<\/p>\n

Owner Rod Perry says the pioneering property has inspired homes in humid climates in Asia.<\/p>\n

With forests on one side and 2,500ft mountains on the other, the house\u00a0also includes its own 600-yard personal beach.<\/p>\n

This house is made out of concrete, steel and glass.<\/p>\n

The Millennium Falcon will return to screens in December when Han Solo, played by\u00a0Harrison Ford, takes it for a spin in new film Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens.<\/p>\n

Rod, retired postage stamp dealer, said: \u201cI didn\u2019t realise the resemblance to a spaceship until I saw aerials of the project and then it hit me.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy work was always in historic documents and I live more in the 18th century than the 21st but I\u2019ve noticed the resemblance and other people have too \u2013 it\u2019s often called starship galactic and quite rightly so.<\/p>\n

This 600-square metre mansion, made out of concrete, steel and glass, sits 11 metres above the water and is made to look like it is rising out of the lake.<\/p>\n
