Maison des Centraliens<\/a>\u00a0brings a new brightness to Paris. The original building on the Rue Jean Goujon was conceived as a private house, completed in 1866 for the Duchess of Rivoli, Princess of Essling. It turned private when in 1919 was sold to the Association of Students of the Ecole Centrale (the \u201cCentraliens\u201d).<\/p>\n

The building between classicism and avant-garde, tradition and provocation, is a luxuous paradise to your eyes. In the great tradition of luxury hotels, it has been redecorated by fashion designer Martin Margiela<\/a> to create heaven on earth.<\/p>\n

In 2011, nearly two centuries later, the Accor group wanted to turn this unique, prestigious setting into the place where guests would have\u00a0dinner and\u00a0sleep.\u00a0They renovated 40 rooms, and created 17 new suites and guestrooms. Martin Margiela didn\u2019t replace the old style of the building with a new one. The goal has been to enhance historical characteristics by giving them a theatrical emphasis. A surprising, poetic experience, which does not become exhausted with a single visit to the hotel.<\/p>\n

The interior decoration blow us away with fantastic design choices.\u00a0 Ultimately everything contributes to the creation of a theatrical world, the scene of a magical show, achieved by the lighting<\/a>.<\/p>\n
