Maison et Objet Miami<\/strong><\/em> is almost here, so we couldn\u2019t let this pass way. M&O Mag made a selection of some of the best interior designers<\/em> that we will share.<\/p>\n

M&O Mag selected interior designers<\/em> from Panama, Mexico, Brazil, USA and Chile. The six chosen designers will be showcasing their work at Maison et Objet Americas in Miami Beach<\/em> from\u00a0May 10th to 13th 2016.<\/p>\n

Ad Hoc \u2013 Mexico<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Maison<\/a><\/h2>\n

This dual, composed by the industrial designer Juan Hos\u00e9 Nemer<\/em> and the architect Mauricio \u00c1lvarez<\/em>, first met at the\u00a0Iberoamericana University in Mexico City. Their objectives were to create\u00a0furniture and spaces which seeks perfected details through design. Their work\u00a0merges decorative elements from the Mexican crafts, natural materials and manual techniques in a functional and contemporary aesthetic. With rich and unique works, they have been showcasing\u00a0at Wanted DesignNYC<\/span> 2015, Fuori Salone 2015 in Milan and at Design Week Mexico.<\/p>\n

Samuel Amoia \u2013 New York<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Maison<\/a><\/h2>\n

Samuel Amoia<\/em> has a long history in the hospitality industry! Early he learned its inner workings, at the Miami Delano, then at Ian Schrager and Andre Balazs\u2019 New York spots. Since he joined\u00a0the decorator Stephen Sills, he\u00a0has developed an approach, rather than a signature: his taste for textures, subtle tones and sculpture pieces adapts to each project and to each place. He founded\u00a0AMOIA<\/span> Studio, where he designs exclusive pieces and limited editions for Delorenzo Gallery and Dover Street Market (New York), Jean de Merry in the U.S., Soho House Berlin, and The Store by Alex Eagle in London.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Great things to People (gt2P) \u2013 Chile<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Maison<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

gt2P is an architecture, art and design studio based in Santiago, Chile, composed by five designers:\u00a0Tamara P\u00e9rez, Sebasti\u00e1n Rozas, Guillermo Parada, Victor Imperiale<\/em> and Eduardo Arancibia<\/em>. Their goal is to cross digital production with traditional heritage and lo-tech. Their work combined craftsmanship and material of chilians artisans with 2.0 technologies.\u00a0Gt2P has participated in prestigious exhibitions like MAD<\/span> NY, Design Miami 2015, Cappellini Milan 2014, PAD<\/span> London, Galerie Gosserez Paris 2014 and Rossana Orlandi Milan 2013.<\/p>\n

Javier Gomez \u2013 Panama<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Maison<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Javier Gomez<\/em> is a Panama native, he studied photography and\u00a0Advancement of Science and Art in the US. He found\u00a0his own aesthetic on nature, cityscapes and the architectural details of megacities.\u00a0Between abstraction and surrealism, his designs streamline the saturation of colors and patterns to make universal, cohesive wholes. We can found his works\u00a0in the collections of personalities such as Hilary Swank, Bill Clinton, Pele, Colin Cowie and Dr. Phil.\u00a0Some of his creations have been transformed into a bed linen collection (JG home, fall 2015). In 2016, there will be a carpet collection and the artist\u2019s furniture line.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Guilherme Wentz \u2013 Brazil<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Maison<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Guilherme Wentz<\/em> cultivates a modern style that evokes\u00a0a certain art of everyday life using\u00a0clean lines and refined uses. His career starts at Riva and then he opened his own design studio. Since then, his works has been recognized by many awards like\u00a0IDEA<\/span> Brasil, Brazil Design Award and iF Design Award. He touched\u00a0his first collection for offices at Decameron, where he is the\u00a0design art director<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Ben Medansky \u2013 Los Angeles<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Maison<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Born in Arizona,\u00a0Ben Medansky<\/em> engages in ceramics like a religion,\u00a0he believes as much in the power of earth as a material as in the fittingness of its forms. He studied in Chicago, where he developed a passion for brutalist architecture and industrial design.\u00a0He deepened his work in Los Angeles, in the studios of Peter Shire, Anthony Pierson, Shio Kusaka and the Haas Brothers. In 2012, he founded\u00a0Ben Medansky Ceramics, where he create their minimalist and the handmade works around lines as abstract as they are essential, in a deliberately limited color palette. When not creating lines in collaboration with the prominent Herman Miller, Bergdorf Goodman, or Kelly Wearstler, Ben Medansky gives shape to sculptural objects and other \u201cInstruments of Peace\u201d that enrich collections all over the world.<\/p>\n
