With the goal of creating a deconstructed European feeling, Jason Arnold\u00a0and his partner, Carl Denton, have\u00a0installed raw wood ceilings, kept the vanity and shower open, and used clean lines to set the tone for the place.\u00a0Here, you will see how\u00a0Arnold\u2019s thoughtful design gave this simple bath the perfect amount of personality\u2026<\/p>\n

The custom-made iron vanity was designed to be open, with space on each end for storage to be added in the future. The wood drawers and Calacatta marble countertops add texture to the metal frame, and oversize Venetian-style mirrors make the room larger.<\/p>\n

\u201cI stand at six-foot-seven, so small mirrors weren\u2019t an option,\u201d says Arnold.<\/p>\n

The designer has extended the bathroom to 64 square feet\u2014it is\u00a0now spacious enough to be the master bath\u2014 and increased the feel of the space by swapping in a larger window and installing an open vanity. A slanted ceiling was used to gain height. The color black was used throughout the house, including in the bath.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe dark hexagon tile packs a lot of punch in a small space,\u201d explains Arnold.<\/p>\n
