BDNY<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 Boutique Design New York<\/a> \u2013 is back for its 7th edition, and this year it comes bearing some exciting news!<\/p>\n

For the 2016 edition, the \u201cleading trade fair and conference for the hospitality design industry\u201d brings in a new addition to an already intriguing program: The Incubator.<\/a><\/p>\n

Annually hosted at the Jacob K. Javits Center NYC, this event\u00a0brings together professionals from various fields, such as\u00a0interior designers, architects, purchasing agents and hospitality owners\/developers, as well as\u00a0manufacturers and marketers. For two whole days, the fair focuses its attention on innovation, so it\u2019s no surprise that this year they decided to bring another element to the table.<\/p>\n

The Incubator is a new demo space at BD New York where the fair\u2019s attendees are invited to play with the latest tech toys and tools, learning all about them while making way for new \u201cavenues in hospitality design\u201d. For that reason, The Incubator\u2019s main focus is to demonstrate new virtual and artificial\u00a0technologies to its guests, showing them new ways to present their designs to clients, contractors and team members.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Two sessions are scheduled to be held at The Incubator during this year\u2019s edition. The first one \u2013 \u201cGet (Virtually) Real\u201d \u2013 will be moderated by Michelle Acevedo on November 13 from 11am to 1pm, with guest panelists Ash and Sonny Sultani from SONNY+ASH. The second session\u00a0focused on \u201cDimension Shift \u2013 3D Printing for the Next Generation\u201d will be held on Monday the 14th from 2pm until 4pm, presented by Casey Mahon from Carrier Johnson + CULTURE<\/a>.<\/p>\n

And while we wait for this year\u2019s pictures and new adventures at The Incubator, let\u2019s remember the past two years.<\/p>\n
