Still<\/span>, <\/span>one<\/span> of<\/span> the<\/span> major <\/span>issues<\/span> that<\/span> outlined<\/span> the<\/span> 50<\/span><\/span>\u2019<\/span><\/span>s <\/span>was<\/span> the<\/span> waistline<\/span>. <\/span>So<\/span> much<\/span> so<\/span> that<\/span> the<\/span> phrase<\/span> <\/span>\u201c<\/span><\/span>the wandering waistline<\/span><\/span>\u201d <\/span><\/span>was coined at the Paris spring collections<\/span><\/span> in 1952<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span> All<\/span> types<\/span> of<\/span> waistline<\/span> had<\/span> their<\/span> enthusiasts<\/span>, <\/span>from<\/span> h<\/span><\/span>igh<\/span> waist<\/span><\/span> to<\/span><\/span> low waist<\/span><\/span>, <\/span>not<\/span> forgetting<\/span> the<\/span><\/span> natural waist<\/span><\/span> and<\/span> even<\/span> the<\/span><\/span> \u201c<\/span><\/span>no waist<\/span><\/span>\u201d <\/span><\/span>at<\/span> all<\/span>! <\/span>At<\/span> the<\/span> head<\/span> of<\/span> these<\/span> trends<\/span> were<\/span> always<\/span> the<\/span> same<\/span> two<\/span> main<\/span> designer <\/span>houses<\/span>: <\/span>the<\/span> French<\/span> <\/span>Dior and <\/span><\/span>the<\/span> Spanish<\/span> <\/span>Balenciaga.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
