They completely revamped the place, ending up with a new layout, a new kitchen, and some new slick oak<\/strong> and marble<\/strong> surfaces. Another great element? Color! Located in a 19th-century building overlooking the well-known \u201cRetiro Park<\/strong>\u201d in the heart of the spanish capital, House 03<\/strong> \u2013 as it is called \u2013\u00a0home makeover<\/strong> was thought to fit a couple and their four young children. The designers and architects took advantage of the beautiful park views when creating the new layout, as well as\u00a0integrate the kitchen area into the main social space.<\/p>\n

It takes us only a few seconds to realized textures<\/strong>, materials<\/strong> and colors<\/strong> played a big role on this city flat makeover. And as you keep scrolling, you\u2019ll realize that that\u2019s what probably makes this interior design project so appealing and stunning.<\/p>\n

The architects at Lucas y H\u00e9rnandez-Gil<\/strong> removed all the usual compartmentalizing walls in order to create an open-plan living,\u00a0dining and study room<\/strong>. The rooms feel more connected, with a much more harmonious vibe throughout the house.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe arrangement that we found was fully compartmentalized and constantly changed<\/em>,\u201d said the architects. \u201cWe modified the space for a clear and open one with <\/em>light in every room.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n

In the bedroom, we can see more oak<\/strong> elements, paired up with the bold colors<\/strong> we\u2019ve been seeing featured in the living room, lobby, etc.<\/p>\n
