The toolbox represents Studio Four23\u00a0and how the individual tools each have their own role, each their own specialist ability to help craft and build. \u201cThe space is also a reflection of the building\u2019s history. The black Crittal windows that\u00a0wrap 360 degrees around the space and bare brick walls were all in place from the building\u00a0days as a precious metal workshop,\u201d add the design director Harriet Paterson.<\/p>\n

To capture the essence of the object of inspiration they choose materials as\u00a0wood, brass and steel, achieving that way an\u00a0industrial aesthetic.<\/p>\n

Inviting people to interact with the ambiance, they combined tactile textures, from an Arno Jacobsen door handle to\u00a0heavy-grained large oak desks, intending to people to feel and touch them. At the final design, they also add an abundance of green plants, also scattered throughout the space, contrasting with the industrial interiors.<\/p>\n
