Located in North of London, this little house that has been overhauled by\u00a0Studiomama<\/strong>. With adjustable plywood furniture including a\u00a0fold-out bed, a standing desk and extendable dining benches with pink cushions, worth to see it!<\/p>\n

As a challenge to create a\u00a0tiny space comfortable for living, the\u00a0co-founders,\u00a0Nina Tolstrup and Jack Mama, bought\u00a0the former mini-cab office building with only 13 square meters.<\/p>\n

Using some techniques from the design of small caravans and boats, the designers\u00a0developed a scheme that packed a lot into a little space. The main goal was to create a flexible living space that appears larger than its minuscule square meterage to create what \u201cmight be London\u2019s smallest house\u201d.<\/p>\n

Each area of the place has a different function, including\u00a0a bed,\u00a0a work space, lounge seats, a kitchen, bathroom, closet storage and dining area.<\/p>\n

\u201cA tiny space like this has to be designed like one would design the interior of a caravan or boat,\u201d\u00a0Tolstrup told. \u201cEverything has to be custom designed as there is not room for any off the shelf furniture, which was a great challenge.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe use of one dominant material has made the space seamless \u2013 where floor, walls\u00a0and ceiling comes together as one,\u201d added the designer. \u201cIt is also a very warm material that makes the space cosy and cabin like.\u201d<\/p>\n
