They furnish\u00a0a mews property in London<\/strong>\u2018s exclusive Primrose Hill area using\u00a0monochrome interiors and rustic details.<\/strong> The main goal of the architects was to improve the existing layout while reinstating some of the building\u2019s original details.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0doors and windows were repositioned to their likely origins and to update the interior they used a striped-back palette of materials.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was difficult to determine the original form and appearance of the previous incarnation of the building, a haphazard extension and renovation had eroded the Victorian workshop character and created a series of compartmented dark spaces on each floor,\u201d studio director Jack Hosea.<\/p>\n

\u201cWorking with the client, we sought to restore the facade to its likely original form, repositioning openings to create an ordered arrangement of vertically proportioned openings and timber ground floor carriage block doors,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

In the uppermost floor, you\u2019ll find an open-plan living place with an adjoining terrace.\u00a0A glazed panel set into the decking directs natural light down into the\u00a0floor below, where there are a master suite and a single bedroom.<\/p>\n
