Fin is built of components usually totally hidden from view,     including a heat sink,   a giant acrylic lens and 6 LEDs.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tomdixon.net\/docs\/images\/lead\/c64e170d-d18d-4771-92a5-5c39aadd07fd.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"376\" height=\"272\"><\/p>\n<p><strong>ETCH WEB, <\/strong>at its turn,\u00a0is a vast 65cm wide shade with an unusual open structure, designed to cast atmospheric angular shadows when lit.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/static.dezeen.com\/uploads\/2012\/03\/dezeen_Luminosity-by-Tom-Dixon-at-MOST-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"468\" height=\"468\"><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Called Luminosity, the lighting showcase will be held inside a series of tunnels at\u00a0MOST\u00a0at the Museo Nazionale della Scienza e della Tecnologia.<\/p>\n<p>MOST takes place at the city\u2019s museum of science and technology, housed in a 16th century monastery, from 17th \u00a0to 22th April 2012.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The industrial designer\u00a0Tom Dixon presents two new lamps as part of an exhibition of lighting at new Milan show\u00a0next month, called MOST: he presents Fin Light and Etch Web.
