Completely redesigned by Egue\u00a0y Seta<\/a>, this small Barcelona house was thought to maintain the rustic charm of the building and to boast a beautiful contemporary scandinavian interior design\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>at the same time. The result was a harmonious and clever place, that can adjust to its owner\u2019s needs.<\/p>\n

When entering the apartment, you\u2019ll notice how there\u2019s this lovely open space living room waiting for you. A scandinavian inspired gray sofa and three small center tables create a delightful and cozy ambience. The living room opens up to the dining and kitchen areas. But we\u2019ll get to that\u2026<\/p>\n

In the dining and kitchen area, an open shelved wall with built-in light takes all the attentions and creates a nice place for storage and decor. The light wood<\/strong> of the shelves, dining table, counter top and backsplash create a smooth yet gorgeous contrast against the warm\u00a0exposed brick<\/strong> wall that was kept from the building\u2019s original construction.<\/p>\n

A small and narrow window creates the possibility of a more or less private washroom area, which you can adjust to your liking. The bathroom<\/strong> itself is highlighted by white tiled walls, white cabinetry and two simple dark blue pendant lamps hanging just above the wash basin. The finishing touch? A couple of green plants to bring some life to the place and create a more inviting atmosphere.<\/p>\n
