Architecture studio ADR has added an old fruit distillery to the outbuildings of the farm located near an apple orchard in Javornice, creating a courtyard between.<\/p>\n

The gabled design and black roof tiling are meant to blend in with the local architecture, but the architects chose to use the white-painted brick walls to make the difference.<\/p>\n

The contrast between the white on the outside and the black roof beams on the inside create a\u00a0good harmony.<\/p>\n

A spiral black steel staircase leads up to a guest bedroom located in the one-half side of the attic. It features a built-in bed and a small wooden study desk placed underneath a large skylight.<\/p>\n

The architects also renovated and refurbished the existing buildings to include all the necessary facilities for the Javornice distillery.<\/p>\n

The entire place now includes a shop, a fruit store, a refrigerated fermentation plant, a garage, as well as accommodation for the residents and guests, and a pub with a large dance hall.<\/p>\n

For the restoration, the architects tried to maintain as much of the original architectural features or to use a similar style.<\/p>\n
