Austin-based interior designer and stylist Maureen Stevens<\/strong> has got to be one of our most recent obsessions here at Unique Blog! If you are not familiar with her amazing work, please stop everything that you\u2019re doing and just go and see the incredible interiors she has been stylish for the past years! If you don\u2019t have the time, then don\u2019t worry because today we are here to show you one of our Maureen Stevens\u2019 favorite projects! Commissioned for a young lawyer, the apartment\u2019s decor is young, stylish, and it is definitely a stunning contemporary interior design project!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

From a very young age, interior stylist Maureen Stevens has been in love with making changes around the house, creating\u00a0different and unique experiences. So, when years later she decided to open her own blog, new opportunities started to come up, enabling her to experiment in the actual field. \u201cSince then it\u2019s been a brilliant ride of inspiration and gratitude doing anything from styling with HGTV.com and Make it Over magazine, to having our urban oasis featured in the Austin-American statesman, and having our home featured in a national print home magazine, Make It Over, from the makers of Cottages & Bungalows<\/em>.\u201d, the designer states on her website.<\/p>\n

The interior design project we have chosen to share with you today is, as we\u2019ve mentioned before, a very contemporary, young and fresh project. With lots of colors<\/strong> everywhere, you will see as you scroll that patterns<\/strong> also play a great role in creating a more youthful and cheery<\/strong> vibe around the house.<\/p>\n

The living area is filled with bright colors and accent patterns that enhance the fact that this is a modern home, designed for a modern person. Although the space itself is not very big, the designer helped to open it up a little bit by using simple furniture and only the essentials, as well as light colors and patterns.<\/p>\n

This minimalist floor lamp<\/a> by DelightFULL<\/a> would look just amazing in a contemporary project such as this one.<\/p>\n

Here we can see in bigger detail one of the most stunning patterns featured in the whole house. The mirror also helps to create the illusion of openness, making the room look bigger. A simple and clever way to making a small living room look bigger!<\/p>\n

Some of the details we can see from the master bedroom show us that cheerful colors are spread out all over the house. The teal wall makes a great contrast against the beige headboard and the white and gray bedsheets.<\/p>\n

The dining room is a small space, contiguous to the living room. It\u2019s minimalist and modern, but with a touch of classical elements, such as the white painted chairs paired up with the contemporary dining table. The wooden sideboard creates a stunning contrast with the white of the dining setting. You can see more details on the photo below.<\/p>\n

Lastly, we believe it is all in the small details. And seemingly, interior stylist Maureen Stevens agrees with us, putting this stunning small tray on display, featuring a gorgeous pink flower, two gold plated stones that are just to die for and, of course, a little inspirational quote to make our day even better!<\/p>\n
