The show apartment is all decorated with a\u00a0choice of finishes and furnishings that is intended as a physical representation of the Cereal brand.<\/p>\n

Against a backdrop of moody greys\u00a0and dark woods, the team choose a selection of contemporary and vintage furnishings as well as\u00a0granite, marbled tiling and poured concrete floors.<\/p>\n

To create an atmosphere of sophistication inspired by the 50\u2019s, nothing better than\u00a0Miles table lamp<\/a> by DelightFULL<\/a>. The\u00a0layout and exterior were architected by\u00a0Pilbrow and Partners, while the interiors were the development\u2019s responsibility of Nina Norden from Conrad and Partners.<\/p>\n

\"Take<\/p>\n

The Cereal-designed apartment, named Abode, functions as a creative alternative to the traditional show flat.\u00a0\u201cFor us, the perfect solution was a partnership with our friends at Cereal Magazine,\u201d said the owner and director of Aucoot. \u201cWhen we approached Rich (Cereal\u2019s creative director) and Rosa (its editor) they jumped at the opportunity.\u201d<\/p>\n

\"Take\"architecture<\/a><\/p>\n

Spread over two floors, the penthouse includes three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a large open-plan kitchen, living and dining area. Floor-to-ceiling windows and a waterside terrace offer up views of the city\u2019s skyline and boats on the River Thames.<\/p>\n

\"Take<\/p>\n

\u201cWe wanted our guests and readers to visit the apartment and recognize that they were in a Cereal space,\u201d said Cereal editor Rosa Park.\u00a0\u201cHaving said that, we also wanted to have an element of surprise \u2013 even if it means having just a paint colour that maybe you wouldn\u2019t expect us to go for, or a piece of furniture that is slightly more eccentric and has a bit more character than the pared-back, elegant stuff we usually opt for.\u201d<\/p>\n
