In fact, her work with UNICEF started in 2006, recording public-service announcements and participating in media panel discussions promoting children\u2019s rights and the education of girls. Later in 2016, she was appointed as the global UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, having worked with them ever since. The same goes for PETA, for which the actress voiced a life-size robotic elephant named \u201cEllie\u201d, who visited schools across the United States and Europe to educate kids about elephants and captivity, and to urge people to boycott circuses.<\/p>\n
