It is no surprise that in such a big city as Moscow we would find some of the most luxurious projects and private residences in the world. Not only is it the capital of one of the world\u2019s greatest powering forces, but it also a city filled with history that cannot be denied, that is enhanced by the multiple architectural traces that lead us back to times of greatness. Amidst those architectural testaments of luxury mixed with the gray block buildings of the Stalin era, we find some of the most incredible homes with interiors that are just to die for. It was in one of those residential pre-revolutionary buildings that we found this mid-century modern home<\/strong><\/em> filled with some of the most high-end lamps<\/a> you can find on the market.<\/p>\n

\"Moscow<\/p>\n

Both conception and design were signed by interior designer\u00a0Veronica Sudnikova,\u00a0who named this stunning apartment\u00a0Birds.\u00a0<\/em>Why? This happened because what inspired the designer to come up with these interiors was an actual photograph of a flock of birds. She wanted to create a space that represented their natural surrounds, ending up building this magical space in the heart of Moscow<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The designer explained that every room of the house features a color palette reminiscent of the four Seasons, creating a natural engagement with Nature and the outdoor surroundings of the apartment. Natural woods and light blues are used almost everywhere throughout the house. Forest greens and navy blue were also used to create a bigger sense of depth in the living and dining rooms<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"Moscow<\/a><\/p>\n

Using DelightFULL\u2019s Duke pendant lamp<\/a> was a way the designer found to pay tribute to the birds that inspired her, seeing as the lighting design artistically resembles the movement of birds in flight. In fact, the designer herself makes sure to note that this particular piece is one of the most important elements in the whole apartment\u2019s decor, having sparked the theme chosen for the mid-century modern home.<\/p>\n

\u201cColour is very important, and I\u2019m always very attentive to the selection of textures and shades<\/em>,\u201d says Veronica of her take on styling. \u201cI like to use many patterns, but in my interiors, I mix them with great attention to harmony.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n

\"Moscow<\/p>\n

In the bedroom, a strong blood orange was used to remind us of the Fall season and the nostalgia that comes with it. The carpets<\/a> and wallpapers in the bedroom and home office<\/a> are also reminiscent of the Seasons, making sure that feeling is a constant in every room of the house. Using leave patterns on the office\u2019s rug and curtains a way to add a little bit movement to the design.<\/p>\n
