A totally unique finish for each individual object: that\u2019s the result of the handmade process.<\/p>\n<p>As a matter of fact,     the lighting brand keeps exploring the extraordinary metallic finishes,<\/p>\n<p>The latest material used in Tom Dixon\u2019s fixtures is the iridescent sheen, created using a top-secret glaze containing minerals and precious metals.The end result is a striking colour change effect reminiscent of peacock feathers or oil slicks on water.<\/p>\n<p>As its created in a handmade way, no two shades look the same because the glaze fixes to the stoneware in an unpredictable way, which produces different spectrums of colour, ranging from a pale lime to a deep bottle green.
