The event was a journey filled with the most beautiful stands, that gathered the most interesting architects, interior designers and design lovers from all over the world in London. The interior design show<\/strong><\/em> <\/a>was really important to see which interior design trends will be rocking next year and of course, DelightFULL<\/strong> <\/em><\/a>was one of the trendsetters since it showcased some new lighting designs<\/em> <\/strong><\/a>at this year edition that have caught everyone\u2019s attention. So, let\u2019s take a look at the highlights of the best London trade show.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Olympia<\/strong><\/em> was again the home of the design and architectural fair<\/em><\/strong><\/a> which spotlights both new and established names. Dressed up for the occasion, Olympia was absolutely stunning!<\/p>\n

This year we saw some of the most incredible stands, as everyone brought a lot of novelties and trends to the furniture fair.\u00a0This year\u2019s theme was \u201cElements<\/em>\u201d<\/strong> and celebrated all the parts that contribute to the success of a product, from the design basics to the components, from the materials to the development processes.<\/p>\n

There were five sections:\u00a0Interiors, Workplace, Kitchens & Bathrooms, Design & Build and Emerging Brands<\/em>. For the first time, the event hosted\u00a0Dealer Day<\/em>, a professional programme of meetings, seminars, and talks.<\/p>\n

The Best Stand<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Of course, the most trending pieces were from DelightFULL<\/strong><\/em> <\/a>and Essential Home<\/em><\/strong>.<\/a> The Portuguese brands brought plenty of surprises for everyone, showcasing exquisite design furniture<\/em><\/strong> and modern interior design references.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

What has captured the interest of all design lovers at DelightFULL\u2019s<\/strong> stand <\/strong><\/em>this year were the new lighting designs:\u00a0Turner chandelier<\/strong><\/em><\/a>\u00a0\u2013 a custom-piece \u2013 and\u00a0Hendrix pendant lamp<\/strong><\/em><\/a>\u00a0\u2013 a\u00a0new mid-century modern lighting design<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0inspired by the millions of vinyl records sold by the famous American guitarist Jimi Hendrix.<\/p>\n

The show opened with Michael Young<\/strong><\/em>, who appeared in conversation with 100% Design Content Editor Max Fraser. The\u00a0designer presents\u00a0his\u00a0latest design Roxanne, created with Italian furniture brand Gufram. The piece takes inspiration from The Police\u2019s song of the same name, as well as 1970s disco d\u00e9cor<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n
