Based on the books by Lev Grossman<\/a>, the long-awaited TV show has been the cherry on top of the cake we\u2019ve been longing for since our loved magic saga ended \u2013 you know what we\u2019re talking about-. So, let\u2019s not wait and get around to know what this magical set world<\/em><\/strong> has in store for us this year!<\/p>\n

Since 2015, this Hit TV Show<\/strong><\/a> has been capturing our hearts. Hands-on \u2013 got it? \u2013 this show has been making a buzz since it\u2019s rooted. Having been a successful book series, we couldn\u2019t help but bring to life some of the unique styles that only The Magicians brings into play. And talk about style. Every character has its perfect fit, and our fan favourite \u2013 Elliot, shhh \u2013 has always the capacity to charms our minds of when it comes to dressing code.<\/p>\n

So, rejoice fellow Fellorians! This year is all about style. Everywhere. The past two seasons have brought us, white interiors, wonderful schools and nonetheless the best of it all \u2013 the characters and their good style. Everything is falling to place, it seems. \u2026or is it?<\/p>\n

\"Inside<\/a><\/p>\n

From interiors where you can charm a goddess to places where you can recall the old times, everything seems a bit different from every set. The\u00a0production designer<\/strong><\/a> Rachel O\u2019Toole, art director Kendelle Elliott, and props master<\/em><\/a> Pat O\u2019Brien make sure that every set makes the series more tangible than ever. With vintage finds<\/em><\/a> such as a chest from a real magician from early 1900s, magic is truly everywhere.<\/p>\n

From an incredible grad school, the crown jewel is really the set design<\/strong><\/a> of the Physical Kid\u2019s Cottage. With a lot of easter eggs to be found, The Magicians describe the set as \u201c\u2026a shabby but comfortable library lined with threadbare rugs\u2026Books overflowed the bookcases and stood in wobbly stacks in the corners and even on the mantlepiece. The furniture was distinguished but mismatched, and in places, it was severely battered. In between the bookcases, the walls were hung with the usually inexplicable artefacts that accumulated in private clubs.\u201d<\/p>\n

Drawing inspiration from the book series, the Cottage presents all that the book has to offer and much more. The eclectic interior decor\u00a0<\/strong>is a must and everywhere you look it seems like you don\u2019t see the whole picture.<\/p>\n

\"Inside<\/a><\/p>\n

Not wanting to be in the run-of-the-mill comparison with Harry Potter, the production designer states \u201d \u201cI wanted to avoid visual diarrhoea,\u201d. To highlight the many colourful costumes of season two a fairly neutral colour palette<\/strong><\/a> was used.<\/p>\n

But what about Real Magic? Matt Felson who has designed several of the show\u2019s technical aspects explained that the team started by brainstorming ideas for magic and then implementing them with whatever tech made the most sense to use.<\/p>\n
