Antonio Facco<\/strong><\/a> was a hardworking student gladly making the\u00a0final presentation of his graduation project at Milan\u2019s Istituto Europeo di Design, when out of a sudden, luck came knowing at his door.<\/p>\n

The day he dazzled\u00a0Giulio Cappellini day was the start of many cooperations between this dreamer and many international architects, which landed on a nomination by\u00a0Giulio Cappellini<\/strong> <\/a>himself for the Rising Talents<\/strong><\/em> at this year\u2019s Maison et Objet January<\/em><\/strong>!<\/p>\n

For Maison et Objet 2018<\/strong><\/em>, Antonio has developed a work of art around the relevance of time and how we relate to it in today\u2019s society,<\/strong><\/a> and will present both product design as well as interior projects to wrap visitor around the topic!<\/p>\n

\nFederica Biasi<\/strong> <\/a>graduated in 2011 from the\u00a0Istituto Europeo di Design, and since then, she has been enriching her experience by working in several different companies.\u00a0As her style has always been influenced by the straight lines of the Northern European design<\/a>, so she moved to Amsterdam to explore that!<\/div>\n

After some time, she returned to Italy and kept on enlarging her already vast knowledge, which allowed her to be one of the Maison et Objet 2018 Rising Talents<\/strong><\/em>!<\/div>\n

For this year\u2019s Maison & Objet<\/strong><\/em>, she\u2019ll be telling a story based on her own\u00a0creative background<\/strong><\/a>, using iconic products from the past and offering a real time travel experience <\/a>with the use of unexpected materials<\/strong> and a series of\u00a0exclusive objects<\/strong> <\/a>designed specially for the trade show!<\/div>\n

\nFederico Peri<\/a> <\/strong>finished his studies at the\u00a0Interior Design Department of Milan\u2019s Istituto Europeo di Design, and he was immediately offered a grant to study in Paris. His style and work were always influenced by the fascination he felt regaling the conflict and synergy between historical and contemporary design styles.<\/a>\n<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
He has worked with some major names in the italian interior design<\/em><\/strong> and interior architect world and has even produced a limited-edition products<\/strong><\/a>, including Shapes<\/strong>, a collection of lamps that was nominated for a German Design Award in 2016.<\/div>\n

At Maison et Objet 2018<\/strong>, we can expect to see\u00a0his limited-edition products, as well as series- produced pieces.<\/div>\n

Guglielmo Poletti<\/strong> <\/a>finished his studies in Milan and decided to discover the wonders of the Northern European style, by moving to Eindhoven and doing a Master in Contextual Design there.<\/p>\n

His style was always externally characterized by his fascination over materials and their limitations<\/strong><\/a>, exploiting their inner characteristics as balance<\/strong> and fragility<\/strong>, he has able to develop a personal language<\/strong><\/a> with which he wrote a story about the\u00a0defeated complexity, using simple and elementary structures<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

At this year\u2019s Maison et Objet January<\/strong> <\/em>we\u2019ll be seeing several pieces from Poletti\u2019s Equilibrium series<\/strong><\/a>, which actually was his graduation project at the Design Academy Eindhoven, but with some pieces added for the trade show<\/strong>!<\/div>\n

Kensaku Oshiro<\/strong><\/a> is original from Okinawa, , and graduated in 1999 from the\u00a0Scuola Politecnica di Milano with a Master\u2019s degree in industrial design. After finishing his studies, he worked in several places, including Milan and London, but has with his return to Italy, that he decided to open own studio<\/strong><\/a> and started working with such brands as Boffi, De Padova, and so on.<\/p>\n

He was nominated for the\u00a0Rising Talents<\/em><\/strong> by the well know\u00a0Piero Lissoni<\/strong>, who was been working alongside with him for the last 8 years. The architect and designer mentioned that Oshiro\u2019s work meant \u201cthe gap between the Japanese and Western perspectives on simplicity\/complexity\u201d<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

For Maison et Objet 2018<\/strong><\/em>, this artist will be presenting some his most well-known pieces, as he faced the opportunity to showcase his work at Maison & Objet<\/strong> <\/em>as a marvelous opportunity to do some networking.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Marco Lavit Nicora<\/a><\/strong>, another fine example of the quality of the Italian design\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>talents, who graduated in Architecture from the\u00a0\u00c9cole Sp\u00e9ciale d\u2019Architecture in Paris and the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. After finishing his studies, he worked alongside with the talented\u00a0Riccardo Blumer, where he developed a taste for objet design.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It was back in 2014 that he found\u00a0Atelier Lavit in Paris, where he\u2019s currently living, being his work extremely grounded in the proximity and dialogue with the artisans, as he\u2019s always tried to honor the quality of the<\/strong> Italian design<\/strong><\/em> craftsmanship<\/strong>.<\/a><\/p>\n

He was nominated by the fashion editor,\u00a0Rosita Missoni,<\/strong> who applauded his concerns with the recognition of the Italian craftsmanship and who was mesmerized by the lightness of his pieces, despite being underpinned by the classic design style.<\/a> At MOM he\u2019ll be presenting his Venezia Collection<\/strong><\/a>, as well as many other unique products from his authorship.<\/p>\n
