Directed by the acclaimed director\u00a0Luca Guadagnino<\/a>, from the get-go\u00a0we knew it was going to be something to cherish and cry about for a long time.<\/p>\n

A ravishment of the senses. That\u2019s what this movie is all about. More than what the tin or the plot might explain, the deeper issues it deals with, from the feeling of losing oneself to the final conclusion of the movie that left us heartbroken, Call Me by Your Name is the one you\u2019ll be hearing about for a long time.<\/p>\n

Written by one of Hollywoods finest, James Ivory<\/a> claims that sequels are not for him. The creator of that fatal final scene, says he\u2019s too attached to the movie to get wrapped around it one more time. \u201cIt\u2019s basically a light, happy film.\u201d Ivory claims that the script was written in six months.<\/p>\n

The incredible details in the movie are astounding and the director itself claims that without the whole production team<\/strong><\/a>, the movie wouldn\u2019t have so much impact has it does. As the movie is set in 1983 Italy, nothing was left unscathed \u201cThe movie was set in July 1983, and there had been a big election in May 1983, so there were some faded political billboards. [\u2026] The house\u2019s real garden was nothing, zero. But in the book, it is important. We hired a landscape designer and created this orchard, and suddenly the movie became filled with the ripeness of summer.\u201d, claims Luca Guadagnino.<\/p>\n

Notwithstanding, the custom design<\/strong><\/a> was something to get the perfect marriage between fiction and realism, the custom designer\u00a0Giulia Piersanti<\/a><\/strong> created the perfect combo. Having worked with the director in another acclaimed movie \u201cI Am Love\u201d<\/a> the designer claims that most of the pieces were made from scratch.
