This 100% Desing talk<\/strong>, chaired by Dezeen\u00a0Editor in Chief\u00a0 \u2013 Marcus Fairs \u2013\u00a0 counted with the presence of no more then\u00a0some design giants such as YOO creative directors \u2013 Kelly Hoppen and Marcel Wanders with the YOO chairman John Hitchcox.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s 1oo% Design conferences<\/strong> are being a blast and we couldn\u2019t be\u00a0happier. This sure was one of the favourites for design lovers, with a Q&A at the end of the hour live session. Answering pertinent questions about what makes a home in any state or form, the giants of design say that it all depends on what your sense of community is.<\/p>\n\n \"DL<\/a>\n

Kelly Hoppen tells us all about what being a designer is. Inspires by her grandparents that lived in Africa, the ambience, the livelihood is all that matters. The design claims that her mission always was \u2013 \u201cDesign homes for people to live in.\u201d<\/strong><\/em>. And that, for sure, is a great mission. She tells the whole room that every day new steps are being taken, new challenges and the sense of community has never been more important.<\/p>\n

When working on YOO, the designer Kelly Hoppen<\/strong>, tells us that:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re trying to create something extra special, for everyone.\u201d<\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n

And that balance is key. Technology, constantly evolving is one of the most talked points, when it comes to bringing technology home, everything must be in balance. When speaking about design, a community in design and what makes a home, the interior designer is all about talking.<\/p>\n

\u201c[People] they love their home but they need to have a community to support them. People need to have a choice, body, mind and spirit.\u201d<\/h3>\n

And one of the most pertinent questions was exactly\u00a0that, what is the role of technology in the nowadays and future homes? Marcel Wanders<\/strong> says that \u201cTechnology is going to become invisible, but always present.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
