Indeed,   it is already a reference place for emerging designers, talks and parties and it is already considered a must-see.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.wallpaper.com\/galleryimages\/17053160\/gallery\/15_Lights-by-Swedese.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"470\" height=\"351\"><\/p>\n<div><em>Lights by Swedese, a debut at Clerkenwell Design Week<\/em><\/div>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As with previous years, the main event hub is the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.industri.uk.com\/farmiloe-building\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"\">Farmiloe Building<\/a>, a dramatic disused 19th century repository that was once a lead and glass merchant\u2019s warehouse which is located in the south of the Clerkenwell design district. This year, international exhibitors such as\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.muuto.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"\">Muuto<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ligne-roset.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"\">Ligne Roset<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.darestudio.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"\">Dare Studio<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.anothercountry.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"\">Another Country<\/a>\u00a0can be seen there!<\/p>\n<p>Across the road, new festival venue\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.museumstjohn.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"\">Order of St John<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 a 12th century crypt and priory \u2013 provides an ecclesiastical setting for brands such as Benetton\u2019s research group<a href=\"http:\/\/www.fabrica.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"\">Fabrica<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.vesselgallery.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"\">Vessel Gallery<\/a>, who is exhibiting a lighting installation. Surprised? Well, also \u00a0The House of Detention \u2013 a subterranean Victorian prison \u2013 proves an atmospheric setting for young up-and-coming designers to showcase their wares\u2026 a combination of mysticism and design provides an unforgetable atmosphere.<\/p>\n<p>Organisers have also arrange a series of installations for this year\u2019s festival. Dotted around the area are the likes of designer\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.rosslovegrove.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"\">Ross Lovegrove\u2019s<\/a>,\u00a0six-metre Solar Tree for Italian lighting brand<a href=\"http:\/\/www.artemide.com\/index.action\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"\">Artemide<\/a>\u00a0and architect\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/draisci.com\/holding\/htdocs\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"\">Francesco Draisci\u2019s<\/a>striking red umbrella forest in St James\u2019 Church garden.<\/p>\n<p>One thing we are sure: this year is the best of Clerkenwell Design Week.
