Imagine all the famous frames painted by Vincent Van Gogh or by Michelangelo and then\u2026 transport them to real life. Too audacious? Now it\u2019s possible. Some\u00a0classic paintings have been reproduced creatively by a few very creative art lovers with photo cameras. The smart thing is that modern elements such as iphones or skates replaced old fashioned items.<\/p>\n

It all began when booooom.com partnered with Adobe to create the Remake project, which invited students across the U.K. to recreate classical paintings with photography. According to the competition\u2019s requirements, none of the images could be Photoshopped \u2013 \u201call the work here happens before you take the photo, rather than afterward.\u201d<\/p>\n

There is one exception to these rules \u2013 the Vincent Van Gogh remake by Tadas ?erniauskas. While it\u2019s an excellent remake, the artist did digitally retouch the image to get the likeness right, so it doesn\u2019t quite fit the rules.<\/p>\n
