Before having her own design company, Nuria worked alongside with great interior designers that helped her create a new path in design. She worked in the renowned architectural company Rafael de la Hoz, and later, the designer worked alongside with two partners in the ‘Living Pink’ project. Nowadays, she is the master behind incredible colorful modern interior design projects.
Nuria believes that the key of success is the attention to detail that is why she personally picks up antiques and creates customized furniture pieces for her clients’ projects. Interiors have more impact in our lives than we think, they should reflect who we are. Interiors have to evoke feelings the minute we enter the room, and Nuria doesn’t stop until she has the final result that will match the client’s needs and wishes.

One of the main features of this project is the amount of natural light. Having the right balance between natural and artificial light can emphasize volumes and shapes, adding depth and contrast to the room. The designer decided to go for a neutral and white-based-décor to make the space feel bigger.
This modern mid-century project has a fresh vibe to it, thanks to the classic and retro details such as the kitchen wallpaper or the retro sofa in the living room area. One of the biggest features of this work in Madrid was the customized furnishings: the center and dining tables, the bedroom lighting, and more, were all designed by Nuria Alia.
