Although Atelier K – Architectes has only one letter in its name, has already a great amount of projects in its portfolio. Established since 2007 in Carouge, Switzerland, by Alain Meyland, they have now two more offices in Sion and Zurich. Their projects are so nice that will make you wanting to move in.

Atelier K – Architectes was created in 2007 by Alain Meyland to take into partnership five of its collaborators and since then have developed excellent projects in different areas. They hire architects from the best Architecture Universities, not only from Switzerland but also from other parts of the world, which gives them a rich background to develop a great work.

Nowadays the team consists of around 25 architects as well as interior architects and designers. This enables Atelier K to follow a project from its conception to the final result and has made them very competitive, especially in the construction of luxury villas and homes, hospitals, public places and buildings.

Here you can see some pictures of some of their projects that will amaze you, not only because of the architecture but also for the interior design, where they use pieces of the highest quality, as it is the case of the Kelly Bar Stools from Essential Home, a Portuguese design furniture brand.

Although they are based in Switzerland, they have projects in other countries like France or Senegal.

Their favorite materials are wood and glass, so, you can see houses with glass walls that besides the architectural and design touch also enables the natural illumination of the places.

Other of the elements Atelier K uses, is the water and most of the private houses they work on have swimming pools, both exterior and interior.
