The demand for a contemporary house extension is not an easy task, however, the pursuit of innovation in residential design has underpinned the work since the practice was founded.
In order to create a bright, open-planned kitchen, dining area and lounge at ground level, it was necessary to add the 15-square-metre addition to the rear of Tibur House.

The London-based practice had to remove a side wall at the rear of the property to form the extension.
Note the glazing slots into the gap between the house and the neighboring garden! An amazing design tip to enclose the space.

Here in this backyard you feel immediately connected with nature, don’t you think? Feel invited to explore the interior of such contemporary home!

Evans has two diffusers, each one adjustable in direction. Its structure is handmade in brass and the lampshades in aluminum and is from DelightFULL.
Still, with an industrial touch, we find open divisions with minimalist details. The perfect contrast between the vibrant color of the flowers and the dominant white tones.

Being one of the design goals the improvement of natural lighting, the architects also partially removed the wall between the front and rear lounge rooms. Actually, a sliding partition is the key to achieving more privacy between the different spaces.

This incredible house extension becomes even brighter in this setting. The white color balances with the darkness of the night.
Also the palette of cool blue-greys and white flows through the space out onto the patio. To create a warm ambiance, oak panels running along the wall of the dining room.
