As soon as we came across this luxurious and absolutely gorgeous example of contemporary architecture by Allain Chauvet Architecture, we knew that we were in love. It was sudden, but it was sure. And with Summer fast approaching, we couldn’t help but fixate our eyes on dreamy villas and homes with amazing pools. Especially when said homes are located in none other than… Saint Tropez. It is almost like you get the best of everything: you’re in stylish southern France, in a home that exists only in our wildest dreams.

Everywhere around the house, you will be greeted with ceiling tall windows, creating an illusion of the outside being almost inside. The feeling you get is exactly the one of being in contact with nature and the outdoor environment. And with a weather like that, who wouldn’t want that? Additionally, you get a stunning interior decor filled with cheery colors paired up with neutrals. You’ve got your teals, your emerald greens and a timeless white and beige, as well as multiple glass elements.

GET THAT ST. TROPEZ LOOK
Miles floor lamp is a mid-century modern lamp with an easy vibe and uncomplicated lines, perfect for a minimalist living room with a coastal inspired decor such as the one featured above.

The dining and living room areas are, again, embraced by the daylight that comes in through the big windows. Here, we can see more neutral colors such as white and gray, which emphasize the easiness of Summer and help to reduce the heat.

The kitchen is a wonderful open space, with lots of space for cooking and a lovely minimalist dining table set up with classic Eames chairs, topped up with a stunning Flos lighting design!

However, it is the outdoor part of this home that really makes us dream! A spacious and inviting pool, perfect for the high temperatures of Saint Tropez, with a wooden deck, a few sofas, and a very pleasant dining area… The architects that worked on the project made sure to connect the contemporary aspects of architecture with the more classic ones, creating a unique home with unique features.

It is clear, as we scroll through the photos that the architects kept coming back to the importance of lighting and the dialogue between the outdoors and the indoors, thus all the simple lines and the glass elements throughout the house.
