Baron Haussmann is a project created by Bertrand Benoit, that aims to recover the interiors of Haussmann era, which is also the source of this creation.
This classic Parisian apartment gathers the imposing main rooms, which were finished a long time ago, and the bedroom, more recently conceived.
The effect of the lighting and the textures applied are the main characteristics that evoke a touch of refinement to these interiors, which can be particularly seen in the fireplace and the mirrors.
Anyone wouldn’t say that these are 3D generated images, once they look as real photos, but as a matter of fact, they are.
“I modeled a full Hausmannian facade to serve as a backdrop, which took longer than it should have and ended up as such a large mesh that I had to convert it to a proxy”, says Bertrand.
He adds: “The lighting is mainly HDRI, with a few warm softboxes here and there to add relief. All the models were custom-made”.
We are already convinced about the quality of his work. What about you?
