It’s not the first time we’ve talked about Gensler, and you probably remember the stunning Californian Facebook headquarters they’ve built back in 2015. The truth is, we love this amazing design firm so much we had to share with you another one of their projects. This time, we’re taking you to downtown Pittsburgh to discover the Tower at PNC Plaza!

According to Gensler themselves, “completed in October 2015, The Tower at PNC Plaza marks a new step in PNC’s efforts to revive downtown Pittsburgh.” The 32-story building has come to set new standards for sustainable skyscrapers, devising an innovative, low-energy strategy to heat and cool the building.

Step inside this wonderful building…

Through an integrated approach, the iconic tower advances the science of high-rise office buildings, introduces new benefits to the workplace and supports the community at large.

Filled with open spaces and some of the best and most sustainable materials in the world, the Tower at PNC Plaza is definitely a model to follow on what concerns green architecture.


Filled with amazing colors that can be seen from far outside, the building came to bring a new life to Pittsburgh. Below you can see how stunning the new skyrise building looks from above.
