Paris, the city of Lights, is living design during Paris Design Week, that is running until next 16th. As design lovers, we couldn’t let you without a tip for resting an absolute unique night at a parisian design hotel.
That’s the case of Kube Hotel, located in 5 Passage Ruelle street, a quiet place at the summit of Paris Montmartre. This retro-future hotel defies the classis clichés of Paris, by oppositing modernity to classicism.
Designed by the renowned artist Jacques Tati, it combines a resolutely geometric sense of architecture, as its name suggests. The1960s theme in its furnishings and décor, producing a feast for the eyes and senses.
A curiosity is that it is also known as Kube Rooms. Its historic facade hides an incredible high tech universe: 41 rooms and suites, the Ice Kube (the city’s first ice bar), a restaurant, one lounge bar, 2 state of art screening rooms as well as a gym!
Contemporary surroundings and trendy atmosphere are implicit in large bedrooms conceived for the modern traveller.
This is the most impressive boutique hotel in Paris: Kube is Future-Retro made real.
