It is not easy to choose a warm, cozy place to write, to read, or simply to have a relaxing moment. Well, we have an idea: stop by New Town Library in Maranello, Italy and you’ll have that calm moment of the day, embbeded in a classy ambiance.
A glazed reading room may seems to float over the still waters of a shallow pool at this town library which was idealized by Japanese architect Arata Isozaki and Italian architect Andrea Maffei.
The curving glass facade wiggles back and forth to form the building’s perimeter, while study areas behind the glass transmit to visitors a view across the water.
Isn’t it just inviting?
