Who?

Every year in January, so this year too, suppliers and decision-makers from all of the key markets come together in Cologne in order to lay the foundations for tomorrow’s business. At the first interior design trade fair of the year, IMM cologne presents the trends which will dominate the interior design market.

For seven days 1,157 suppliers from 54 countries and 115,000 visitors coming from 118 countries had their trend time in Cologne.

What?

The highlight is two new events : LivingInteriors where they have an emphasis on the holistic home experience and Living Kitchen more focused on kitchen lighten but mostly furniture.

They are also featuring the sleep Lounge. A stand at Hall 9 that celebrates the 9th anniversary of the Sleep segment. The Lounge will be decorated with motifs from the anniversary film itself and from the classic cinema of the 50’s and 60’s. Some of the film clips specifically reflect the association’s different fields of competence.

The traditional “meetsleep” party takes places once again on the Tuesday of the fair, this year as an anniversary party.

Where?

Situated in the Messe Koeln along the bank of the Rhine, from 19th to 25 of January. Right now for instance, the city is open for the famous Christmas Markets. There is food of all kinds, to enjoy there and then or to take away as gifts and lots of opportunity to enjoy mulled wine or hot chocolate. The atmosphere is great, relaxed, fun and very family orientated and you can even ice skate outdoors in the square at Neumarkt.
