“The client was keen for us to create a new residence which would be sensitive to the iconic Grade II architecture, whilst maximizing the use of space,” said the Emulsion’s director Yen-Yen Teh. “The interior palette includes feature walls inspired by Le Corbusier’s color range against a neutral gray rubber floor, and dark wood and wired glass referencing materials of the original building.”

The triplex apartment has a kitchen and living room that open onto balconies overlooking the post-war complex, alongside two bedrooms and bathrooms. Highlighting the wooden treads you’ll find a bright teal wall, creating a nice contrast between the original and contemporary qualities of the space.
